This Privacy Policy explains what information My Vedic Reading ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use myvedicreading.com (the "Service"), and how we use it.
When you purchase a reading, we collect:
We do not collect or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Your exact birth date, time, and place are used only to calculate your chart and write your reading. We do not store them in our own database, and we do not sell, share, or use them for anything beyond generating and delivering your own reading. After your reading is delivered, your birth details exist only inside the PDF sent to your email.
Because your birth details travel through our payment processor and service providers (see Section 4) while your order is processed, those providers may hold them in their own records under their own policies.
We keep a copy of your PDF for 7 days so we can resend it if your email doesn't arrive. After 7 days it is automatically deleted. There is no online page where your reading can be viewed later — your email is your permanent copy, so please save the PDF.
We keep your customer record (your email address, marketing preference, and order reference) the way any business keeps records of its customers, for support, receipts, and refund or dispute handling.
We share information with a small number of service providers strictly to operate the Service: our payment processor (Stripe), our email delivery provider, our hosting and file-storage providers, and the AI service we use to help write your reading, which receives your calculated chart details for that purpose. None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We may use standard website analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall site traffic and improve the Service. This data is aggregated and is not used to individually target you with advertising.
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we do not store payment card numbers, and access to order records is limited to what's needed to operate the Service.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about your order by contacting us through the link on our homepage. If you no longer want to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in any such email.
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make a change.
